Description: An eye gaze board is a clear Plexiglas board that is used as a simple communication device. Pictures are mounted at strategic areas on the board and the user communicates by looking at a selected picture. The eye gaze board is a see-through frame with letters or pictures on it. The board is placed between two people who want to have a conversation using the board. The board can either be attached on a table or wheelchair, or if one of the conversation partners is able-bodied, s/he can hold the board in front of the disabled person.

Tasks: This device can be used for communication as well as for reading activities. The teacher can have the student retell a story by programming the story into the different frames and having the student press the frame for the part of the story that comes next.

It is real time so while 10 people may be looking at one document they also will be allowed to see exactly what another member is working on.
Characteristics of Students: Students who have difficult speaking can use this because it will allow them to work with technology and still be able to voice and share their opinions with classmates.
Environment- This application is able to be used almost anywhere. Users can down a separate application onto their phone, ipad, or other electronic device enabled with internet capabilities.
Tasks- It can be most effective in the cases that a student group project is assignment, allowing students to work together even if they are not meeting up outside of the classroom.
